SPORTFIT SHORT BREAK CARE LTD - Residential ACTIVE short breaks for children with special needs.
About Us

SPORTFIT is based on the needs of the children or child present, however diverse these needs may be. The childrens enjoyment and positive experience is of the utmost importance. At group activities and sports courses we offer a huge variety of sports and activities, whilst also allowing children time to recuperate from active sessions in a safe and secure environment. Huge emphasis is placed on teamwork and co operation and fun is the main aim of each session, our thinking being, if they enjoy it now they will want to continue it in the future and lead active and healthy lives.

Individual care packages are delivered with this ethos in mind. We offer children in our care a purpose and have been successful in enthusing even the most troubled and complex children. Our staff are extremely skilled in this field.

In Dorset, Sportfit offer one to one tailored activity breaks for children who have emotional and behavioural needs, including initial assessment, specific activity package and full and appropriate staffing.

In Hampshire, these breaks take place at Gurnard Pines Activity Centre, Isle Of Wight and  in  the New Forest. www.gurnardpines.co.uk/
